Lesson for Al Jabbar: The Compeller

The name Jabbar suggests a healing strength or the strength to heal.  To compel means to make it so or to stabilize.  For this medallion we have depicted a sage with a walking stick who is healing or compelling.  This name also means the mender of a fractured existence.

Suggested discussion questions:

What does compel mean?

What does healing mean?

What does fractured mean?

What is stability?

We suggest you choose a space that can accommodate all the 99 Names or to fix the names to a fold out accordion book in sequence if you do not have an appropriate space available.

Please share your ideas for teaching the meaning of the 99 Names: A Visual Tasbih to children.
