Pool of Paradise: The Valley of Love

This is the 33rd part of our Pool of Paradise project for children in Ramadan.  Today we pass the Valley of Love which is the second of the seven valleys on the way to Mount Qaf and the Pool of Paradise.

When they came upon the next valley they found the river Nile winding before them with papyrus along its banks.  When Sayyidina Yusef came here he had many trials.  He was a slave; he was thrown in prison; he was raised to great power and through it all he was loved by the Lady Zulaykha.  We must be like Lady Zulakha and pursue the Simourgh as she chased Yusef (a) through the Valley of Love.  The Nile bids us salaam and asks us to greet the Prophet Yusef (a) when we reach the Pool of Paradise.

Please share your ideas for teaching children the rites of Ramadan.

Please see out new book for this project:  The Pool of Paradise: A 30 Day Curriculum.
