Lesson for Al Wadud: The Loving

The recitation of the name Wadud helps us to develop intimacy with others which is a reflection of divine love in tumultuous relationships.  For this medallion we have chosen to depict a mother and baby holding hands.

Suggested discussion questions:

What is divine love?

What makes us feel close to the people we love?

What is the intimacy between a mother and child?

Display:
We suggest you choose a space that can accommodate all the 99 Names or to fix the names to a fold out accordion book in sequence if you do not have an appropriate space available.

Please share your ideas for teaching the meaning of the 99 Names: A Visual Tasbih to children.
