Tree of Prophets Workshop: Adam (a)

We recently began a weekly workshop for the Tree of Prophets project.

One of our mamas read the story to the children and she did such an excellent job of making the story exciting.

At the end she asked the children a few questions about the story.

She asked the children what Adam (a) did that made him an exile from Jenna.  One of our young ladies said that Adam (a) ate from the wheat tree.

The mama then asked what was written on the throne and one of our young gentlemen said Allah (s) and Muhammad (s) is written on the throne.  (This part of the story in not found in the text we are using but the mother reading the story added a few more details when she told it.)

Next our mama asked what the children learned from the story and they said we should listen to Allah (s) and not Shaitan.

Next our mama asked the kids who Adam’s (a) wife is and one of our little girls said Hawa (r).

After the story the children worked on their mediallions to take home for their own Tree of Prophets  project.

If you would like to know more about this story or read it to your children please see My Little Lore of Light by Hajjah Amina Adil.

Please share your ideas for teaching children about the lives of the Prophets.
