This is the 106th part of our series on the Tafsir of Quran for children.
This surah speaks about the special blessings and protection that the custodial tribe of Mecca enjoys.
The surah admonishes the Quraish to value this security coming from Allah (s) and to worship the one true God in his house, The Kaba.
If you would like to read more about the Quraish and their reaction to the message of the Prophet (s) there is a section in The Light of Muhammad by Hajjah Amina Adil called chapter 8. The First Believers.
Discussion question: who were the Quraish? Did Allah (s) save the Quraish from King Abraha and his army? What did the Quraish do when the Prophet (s) brought them the message of Allah (s)?
Image: the Quraish were desert people who traded by caravan so I chose a desert caravan to represent them.
