Tonight we reviewed the story of Isa (a) in  My Little Lore of Light by Hajjah Amina Adil.

My son was particularly interested in the part where Isa (a) made the bat out of clay and blew on it to bring it to life.  My son wanted to know what special powers Prophet Isa (a) had that he could bring things to life.  I said I didn’t know exactly but that it must be a power that Allah (s) gave him.  My son wanted to know if he could have special powers.  I asked him what he would do with special powers and he said that he would change the color of the sky.

When we read about the miracle of the table that came down from heaven with food my son said that he wanted a table with banana bread, jam and eggs.
