Dervish Dolls: Islamic Architecture

Today our little Dervish Doll is sharing the beauty of Islamic architecture with fountains, and arched gateways, and mosques.  He is telling us about the beautiful colours used to decorate the structures and the geometric  patterns in the tiles.

This Dervish Doll was commissioned by Sirajunmunira from WaldorfMagicGlade on Etsy.

The architectural miniatures were purchased the the Old Madina in Fez Morocco.

Please share your ideas for using creative play to learn about Islamic culture with children.
