71. Illuminated Quran: Nuh

This surah speaks about the Prophet Nuh (a) and his warning of the flood that was coming to the earth. He asked that the people leave the pagan gods who could not benefit them and follow Allah (s) who had the power to give them all the things they could need.

If you would like to read more about the Prophet Nuh (a) to your children there is a chapter concerning his story in My Little Lore of Light by Hajjah Amina Adil.

Discussion question:  why did Prophet Nuh (a) ask Allah (s) to drown all of the unbelievers?  Why was Allah (s) sad to send the flood?  How did Allah (s) show Nuh (a) how hard it was to destroy his creation?

Please share your ideas for teaching children the Tafseer of Quran.
