This surah speaks about keeping private matters private and not sharing them with others. This is an excellent gerneral advice but is also mentioned because this happened in the family of the Prophet (s). The surah goes on to praise the wife is Pharaoh Asiya (r) and Mary (r) as examples of ladies with strong belief.
Discussion question: do problems come when people tell the private matters of others? Why is it better to keep the secrets of others? What is privacy?
Image: I chose to depict two ladies whispering in this case because this surah refers to a matter between the wives of the Prophet (s) but I do not mean to imply that keeping a confidence private only applies to ladies. It applies to everyone.
