This surah asks us to obey Allah (s) and to obey his messenger – Muhammad (s). The surah reminds us that rejection of our creator and his messenger will be a harm to ourselves but will not harm Allah (s) at all.
Discussion question: why is it bad to stop people from believing in Allah (s) and the Prophet Muhammad (s)? What are the ways that people stop others from listening to Allah (s)? Are there things that we do and say that make other people despair? What ways can we do or say that helps people to believe instead of turning away from Allah (s)?
