Musa: Shuayb

Tonight we reviewed the part of Musa’s (a) story where he encounters the Prophet Shuayb (a).

We learned about the story of Shuayb (a) and the fate of the unbelievers of Madyan who were burned up by the hot sun.  My son wanted to know why the people of Madyan were punished.  I told him that they did not listen to Prophet Shuayb (a) and were doing many bad things.

Shuayb (a) received Musa (a) and offered to take him into his family.  Musa (a) accepted and spent many years in the company of another prophet and no doubt the learned much from each other’s company.

Please share your ideas for teaching children about the lives of the Prophets.
