Musa: The Beard

Tonight we reviewed a story from the childhood of Prophet Musa (a) where he pulled the beard of the Pharaoh Walid and was tested for his intent.  They brought him a platter of coals and a platter of rubies to see if he had judgement.

The child burnt his hand and his mouth with a coal.  My sons wanted to know why he did that.  I explained that an angel made him do this to protect himself from the wrath of the Pharaoh.

Please share your ideas for teaching children about the lives of the Prophets.
