Silsila: 38. Sharafuddin ad-Daghestani (q)

Tonight we reviewed the story of the thirty-eighth figure on the Silsila: Sharafuddin ad-Daghestani (q).

We learned that Shaykh Sharafuddin (q) made a seclusion where a snake coiled around him and dissapeared when he made sajda.  My son said he would be scared to make sajda onto the head of a snake and I agreed that would be frightening.

We learned that when it became illegal to wear a turban Shaykh Sharfuddin (q) was brave and kept the Sunnah of wearing the turban.

Please share your ideas for teaching children about the Awliya.
