Silsila: 37: Abu Muhammad al-Madani (q)

Tonight we reviewed the story of the thirty-seventh figure on the Silsila: Abu Muhammad al-Madani (q).

We learned the Shaykh Abu Muhammad (q) would have meetings with Sayyindina Khidr (a) while he was a prisoner in Siberia.  When the shaykh moved to Turkey Sayyidina Khidr (a) struck the ground with his staff and brought water to the new village of Rashidiya.

We learned that all the creatures in the village made dhikr.  One night there was a creature that was sad and not making dhikr and they discovered a worm in a box that missed its family.  The shaykh returned the worm to the garden.  My son found the idea of worms making dhikr amusing and added that he thinks worms are yucky.

Please share your ideas for teaching children about the Awliya.
