Silsila:  5. Jaffar as-Sadiq (r)

Today we reviewed the fifth figure on the Silsila, Jafar as-Sadiq (r).  We learned that  he was from the family of the Prophet (s) and Abu Bakr (r).

We learned about a story where Jafar as-Sadiq (r) gave a beautiful robe to a poor person in Mecca.

He is buried in Madina near to his ancestors.

Please share your ideas for teaching children about the Awliya.

  1. You share wonderful resources in this blog. Thanks! Jafar as Sadiq was from the family of the Prophet through Fatima and Ali. I feel that you already know this. So did you mean ‘family’ in the above text in some other meaning when you say that Jafar as Sadiq was from the family of the Prophet and Abu Bakr? Thanks again!
